  • Student Responsibilities

    The study of music can be a joyous and rewarding experience. It offers a unique opportunity to develop one’s self-expression, artistry, and discipline. In order to make good progress, you will need to do the following:

    • Attend lessons regularly and be on time.
    • Practice every day in a quiet place – remember that quality of practice is as important as quantity.
    • Keep your music and instrument in good order and bring both to lessons.
    • Talk to your teacher about your goals and how to achieve them.
    • Attend live music performances at every opportunity;
    • Enjoy yourself and take pride in your study of music.

  • Parental Responsibilities

    Parents and guardians are responsible for picking their children up from and taking their children to the Education Centre on time.

  • Music

    Students are responsible for providing music that is requested by the instructor. Students should have a practice book. The instructor will record the work during the lesson, and the practice to be done in preparation for the next lesson.

    Students receive a discount on purchases in our store.

  • Instruments

    Students are responsible for providing a musical instrument. If an instrument must be purchased or rented, the instructor can help in making the selection. The Education Centre provides drum sets, keyboards, and amplifiers. However, these items are required for home practice.

Music for Life

Quality music lessons do more than teach a student to play an instrument. The student with a firm musical background has learned that anything can be achieved with the right combination of hard work and good fun.
