• Print Music Discounts

  Buckley’s Music has been working to develop a fair, consistent, and transparent discount policy for our customers since our purchase of Lawley’s Music in November 2004. We wanted to take time to monitor buying patterns and develop a policy that will work for all parties.

• Customers that will receive a 10% discount from our regular price are:

  • Students from The Maritime Conservatory of the Performing Arts
  • Students majoring in music at university or college

  FAQs about our Print Music Department

  Why don’t you carry this book?
  Buckley’s Music carefully analyzes our sales and we stock those items that are best sellers. If we don’t have the item you are looking for, we will order the item (subject to a 50% deposit). We do our best to track down the items you need. If the item comes from a large supplier the wait for a special order should be 1-2 weeks. If the item comes from an overseas supplier or a smaller publishing company, it may take 4-6 weeks to arrive.
  
  It is not possible for any print music store to stock all the selections, in all the editions, keys and voicing to satisfy all customers. If we see a demand for a product, we will add it to our regularly stocked items.
  
  When do you put music on sale?
  We review our print music sales on a quarterly basis to determine what products should be marked down. You can find these items on our website in Print Bargains.

Print Music Discounts FAQs

What items are eligible for these discounts?
The following items: CDs, DVDs, print music, novelties (i.e. pencils, erasers, etc.)

What items are not discounted?
There are no discounts available on conductor scores, items reduced in price, or on items from select publishers. The maximum discount on band methods, band collections, and band scores is 10%.

Some items may receive no discount or a reduced discount due to freight or other costs.

How do I get a discount?
Customers must provide a membership card or documentation that identifies their eligibility. Customers that establish their eligibility will be added to our database with an expiry date so that they will not need to supply identification on subsequent purchases.
